Menstural Cycle and Ovulation
A series of natural changes in the hormone production and the structures of uterus and ovaries of a Female Reproductive System, that makes them possibly pregnant is known as ‘ The Menstural Cycle’. The hormones estrogen and progesterone regulates the cycle.The ovarian cycle controls the cyclic release of these hormones and production and release of the eggs. The preparation and maintenance and the lining of the uterus which is the womb to receive the fertilized egg is being governed by the uterine cycle. These cycles normally last between 21 and 35 days in an adult woman with an average length of 28 days and continues till 30-45 years.
